Incredible.
Easy mode still has one shot mechanics in it and the dodge windows are unchanged.
Sure, but please understand that this game has a very strong parrying or die system in it which people compare to dark souls because that is another popular game that has dodge or die mechanics in it.
My understanding is that the parry window has an audio indication and I am partially tone deaf which is not usually an issue for me, but it is in this game and it makes the game unfun because of the giant disparity between parry and non parry.
In fact, I would easily argue that because of the importance of parries, the game functions more like a souls like than a turn based rpg because of the reliance on that mechanic. After all, souls likes have stats, equipment, visuals, bosses and hp bars too.....the difference is the brutal resetting nature of the combat.
Have you actually played it? Story mode still has monsters that one shot.
I have died in maybe two fights because I realised quickly they were bosses to fight optionally later.
This game is trivially easy if you play it at the right level/pace and have something that remotely resembles a build of skills that synergise.
Then dodge? I mean... lolololol.
