Unreal garbage 5
Devs, stop using this engine, also using XESS, DLSS, FSR, etc instead of optimizing games. This shouldn't perform this way and also stop using motion blur, film grain and chromatic aberration, games don't need it, Specifically film grain that doesn't belong in games at all.

Motion blur, DOF and film grain all play a part into making something look photorealistic...as a camera would show the same thing. I love it for selected games, especially story driven where you can sit back and enjoy the world. Most if not all games usually let you turn these off, it literally takes 10 seconds
UE5 is the most advanced engine right now ! More developers should use it !

The creators of the Oblivion remake used it and it made the remaster a stuttering mess. If with decent specs it runs poorly. I had to do some tricky fenagling to get this game to run smoothly, but it can be done. This game is far more optimized than other UE5 games out there.

Watched many Streamer, no stutter at all
Which engine then to use? Unity and Cryengine and Godot are all inferior

I get no stutter in Oblivion remaster.
Why are you blaming UE5? Blame who started this crap, Nvidia.

Nvidia has nothing to do with it

Runs fine for me so far on both games... Even when I push it in Oblivion with ultra and hardware RT still get 30+ FPS on a 3060 12GB lol... Had 1 crash so far in this game though.

How far into the game did you crash?

Like 40 mins in according to steam but same time I was messing with graphics settings on the go so that will cause some instability here and there.

Hmm alright, I'll wait a few months before getting this game :<
I agree 100% in a way. All of these new games coining out on UE5 all have the same feel and look. In the past studios have their own engines or they employ heavily customized hybrids of different engines which gives each it's own unique look & feel. The flip side to UE5 is it gives smaller devs a chance to create something with less investment & overhead, so you get a slew of games that all have the same look & feel no matter how different the actual game play or original design is intended. These games are like the process food "flavor of the week".

Nuh uh. Robocop and Immortals of Aveum look and feel like totally different games.
