That doesn't mean it's bad or anything, any comparisons between this game and any souls-like is superficial.

Well, but it is for 100%. I think, regular playthrough maybe 50-60 hours. Also they hide another game inside)
I need to actually get around to it one of these days!
and a bonfire-like rest (by resting you respawn enemies)
and an estus system (you find "shards" which replentish when resting)
and the one-hit bosses that you can parry or dorge
and individual specs leveling (you can invest individually on hp, attack, luck, etc.)
and the weapon scaling with specific stats
and no manual saves (self-explainatory)
it may not be a souls-like, but hell does it have souls-like stuff in it.
