On an another note for those who want really turn based old school RPG, I can recommend Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery.

I would not call this a souls-like.

That doesn't mean it's bad or anything, any comparisons between this game and any souls-like is superficial.

You are probably playing on a story mode difficulty.

Holy crap that's the first time I've ever seen anyone else mention or even be *aware* of that one in the wild.
Deep pull :D

I bought that at launch but sadly fell into the backlog like so many others :enemy:

Same here. I played it for a little bit and liked it but sidetracked. I mostly play it on handheld so next time I travel I will probably get back to it.

Small correction: 178 hours:murasame_smile:
Well, but it is for 100%. I think, regular playthrough maybe 50-60 hours. Also they hide another game inside)

Ah cool, thanks for the info.
I need to actually get around to it one of these days!

and a bonfire-like rest (by resting you respawn enemies)
and an estus system (you find "shards" which replentish when resting)
and the one-hit bosses that you can parry or dorge
and individual specs leveling (you can invest individually on hp, attack, luck, etc.)
and the weapon scaling with specific stats
and no manual saves (self-explainatory)

it may not be a souls-like, but hell does it have souls-like stuff in it.
