This is no different than Mario/Luigi Series RPGs, Sea of Stars and plenty of other games.
You don't HAVE TO Parry/dodge or enhance your abilities with well-timed attacks.
Its OPTIONAL to actively participate in quick-time events, not REQUIRED.
Being honest, your take is stupid.
Going full action RPG would completely change the feel of the game, and a lot of the charm and personality would be lost.
This is bullcrap. You absolutely have to utilize dodge / parry. You simply do no output enough damage, and you're not strong enough to tank hits. During my fights I had to have Lune heal nonstop because I just cannot get the parry timing right, and that makes the fights take FOREVER.
You can put the game on EASY and breeze by...
Give me a break.
Folks crying about things can change is ridiculous.
Im on playing on PC gamepass.
"Dude" let's jump to stupid conclusions
What's refreshing is seeing a turn-based game in this style. The QTE stuff, that's just a bad implementation of a questionable cross-genre combination. It could be good, but the implementation is lacking. You get barely anything from the action side, and the one draw to the turn-based side is made completely irrelevant due to the inclusion of the action element. It's weird in its current state.
