Crashing either after a cut-scene or when trying to load into the game.

As the title says, im under the refund time and really debating a refund purely because already when i first tried loading the game it didnt load and crashed, then my second crash happened after the prologue was done, like as soon as the cutscene ended after i got the achievement it just closed instantly and put me back to desktop, no warning, then again i loaded it back up, tried loading my save and it crashed on the loading screen.

Any fixes other than disabling steam overlay? That hasnt worked i tried that after the initial load of the game didnt work the first time.

I’m having the exact same issue. I’m making sure everything is updated and I restarted my PC so I’m about to give it another go.

EDIT: With some trial and error, I found that skipping the cutscene seemed to make the next one load properly. Not sure why this is, but since I've seen that particular cutscene several times at this point I didn't mind much

Happened twice to me in about 40 minutes. Is this an issue I'll encounter a lot with this game? Still in the refund window.
