Another UE5 game...
Why. I have yet to see a UE5 game that is optimized. This doesn't seem to be the exception either. STOP using UE5 please.

It's not that bad. 5900X with RX 6900XT, 4K at Epic preset, never drops below 30, which is not a lot, but more than some other games.

I've run it on 2016 hardware and didn't notice any issues. Looks and plays great.

Looking beyond the "Get a better hardware" comments, UE 5 is one of the worst graphic enigines in terms of perfomance out there. Simple as that. Studious should use Cry Engine more often.

At some point you just have to realize that complaining 24/7 about every new game is not going to change anything. There is no optimization. There will never be optimization. You can however upgrade your hardware so it's not as bad. That's literally all you can do.

Did you miss the last part? I know the game should perform better, but there are much worse offenders out there. And if you drop it to Medium, it does 60, while looking roughly the same. Again, it's in 4K on a GPU from 2020.

playing it on my laptop
literally 80-120 fps on nearly ultra settings 2560x1600 resolution

i feel like a lot of gamers say "optimization" A lot but they never wanna do the same about their system.

some of yall would build a "beast" pc but skim out on the cooling or the cpu and just go for the best gpu
or have your system be riddled with malware and processes sucking up so much

but like you dont even own this game so you cant really possibly argue that its poorly optimized

My rig runs it on epic, not even dropping below 60fps on an ultrawide monitor, you can't lmao keep crying, after you finish get a better rig peasant.
