i was sitting at around 100 FPS very consistently in the small test (13900k + 4080)
the frame times seem really solid too, there are infrequent stutters but its not a deal breaker for me. for a UE5 game from a new studio i (personally) think the performance is really good thus far. a lot better than most new titles we are getting, but then again the bar has been really low for a while now.
from what i have been seeing here and other forums online.. team red seems to be having more frequent issues with this particular title.
hopefully some updates are put through sooner than later.
Its difficult to pinpoint the problem
Do you have gsync/vrr tv or monitor? if yes, activate it for fullscreen and borderless screen (nvidia settings.
set vsync on in nvidia settings, turn vsync off in the game settings.
VRR/Gsync should prevent stutters but if it doesn't work as intended, cap the framerate on so that your framepacing is constant green line (using fps monitor programs)
I cannot speak for amd hardware but I have zero issues with 4090, 14900k, 32gb ram, M.2 SSD
That is good news, 100 fps seems good for a solo game in my opinion ! hope the best for you, personaly I did get only 1 for now. Really hope it will stay stable ! enjoy the game
Good luck to you too and enjoy the game.
Scaling 100% - DLAA
All Post Processing - Disabled
hardware - 3080ti and i7 12000k
I'm getting averages of around 60-70fps and 1% lows around the 50-60 range.
I noticed outside the prologue it got better FPS wise or at least a bit more stable.
There are already mods around on day 1 to fix obvious problems like bad fov, 30fps lock in movies etc. You have to wonder how devs somehow keep missing things that happen in literally every game and need mods to fix.
PureDark is working on his FG mod at the moment. Should be popping up any time, soon. Lossless Scaling just isn't cutting it for me. I have no idea if it'll smooth out the type of stutter I'm receiving though.
RTX 4090, 13900k, 64gb RAM, M.2 SSD, and I'm certainly experiencing the stutter. I haven't played too far into the game but it's a pretty egregious example of it so far. Perhaps worse than FF7 Rebirth was initially. None of these mods from Nexus Mods have been effective either.
