Okay, but DualShock support?
Game entry on Steam says it fully supports XBox controllers and DualSense controllers. Anyone got it running with DualShock (PS4 controller?) .
Got my PS4 controller via USB and the game recognizes my controller, but I get Xbox glyphs /button layout.
Any way to change that? A way to get/force DualSense glyphs to show is welcomed of course, since PS4 and PS5 glyphs are visually the same.

Turn off Steam Input. Works for a lot of other games too.

Make sure to disable steam input as it makes DualSense to act as a generic controller.
Not sure if it will work with ps4 controller but it does work with DualSense.

I did exactly what you and many others have suggested. My PS4 controller won't work with disabled steam input unless it's plugged in, and it STILL won't show Playstation glyphs. I'm just hoping a kind soul out there will create a Nexus Mod for PS controller glyphs for people like me.

Problem is that is DualSense. Not DualShock. The game (somehow) doesn't support PS4 controllers. Only PS5.

My DS4 works just fine, but I'm seeing Xbox icons with/without Steam Input.

Yeah, the button prompts is the issue. Having to translate XBYA to X[_]O/\ on the fly during QTE/dodge/parry can cause problems. At least for some of us (I'm too old to memorize xbox button placements)

I've been using both controller types for a while so I can usually handle it, but yeah it really trips you up sometimes. Especially since both controllers gotta have a blue "X" 😂
Are yall having issues shooting with free aim using the ds4 controller?

I found a solution to have PlayStation glyphs, regardless of controller!

  1. Create a file named "Game.ini".
  2. Insert the following text:
    [CommonInputPlatformSettings_Windows CommonInputPlatformSettings] DefaultGamepadName=PS5 bCanChangeGamepadType=False
  3. Copy this file into the game folder.
    C:\Users\{USER}\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\Config\Windows
  4. You should have PlayStation controls whenever you use any controller now.

Is there a variable like this that could be used to lock gamepad ui and prevent keyboard/mouse ui from showing when moving mouse?
