EDIT: Does not work for parries.
Just play on story mode
Because you would be immortal.
I thought it was just like the Mario games or Like a Dragon where it reduces.
ETA: I may have found a bug too: I switch on "story" mode hoping for longer time to parry/dodge , and I get 12 HP hits from the mime.... I switch on "auto QTE" now I get 5 HP hits. I wonder if there is something screwy with the difficulty that it does not "change" it until it reloads after a failed fight.
Mime in story mode is very doable. I am still missing dodge and parry though.
I was excited to play a turn-based JRPG, but what I got was more Elden Ring bullcrap with trolling wind-ups, short dodge/parry windows and insane amounts of incoming damage.
And if I had no "skill issue", then the game would still be a failure as a JRPG because I'd just no-damage everything and win all battles without thinking of a single tactical decision.
