Her Father went to 34 expedition
In the prologue, a girl said her father went on Expedition 34. But how could her father have gone on Expedition 34 if the age gap is so small?

The scheme, as presented in the trailer, wouldn't kill everyone. When 34 was painted it killed only those agreed 34. So people then aged 33 would have survived. And by the time 33 is painted they would be 34, thus slipping through the gap.

Her father could have slipped through in the past and then went on expedition 34 to try to save her.

Well, human males reach fertility between the ages of 10 and 12, and when you know you're going to die in your thirties people start having kids considerably earlier. Though that assumes she's talking about her biological father rather than a foster father.
He just wanted an excuse to leave, I guess he figured it was more believable than going to get milk.

If you're talking about Maelle, it's said later in the prologue that she has 9 years left before she would die, meaning she's only 15 since in 9 years the new max age would be 24. She also says she's a teenager when you beat her during the second optional duel. So, her father could easily have had her when he was something like 16-19.

I'm not talking about Maelle it's a girl named Eloise in prologue who says, "My father went on Expedition 34 and never came back."
And I'm just sitting here thinking—how? Her father went on Expedition 34? That would mean he’s super young, or she’s older than she looks. But her body looks like a grown woman, so the age gap feels way too small.
Something’s not adding up, bro.

The problem with this is the reaction to the old man on the beach right after the prologue. Had people slipped through the gap and lived older, the Expeditioners wouldn't be surprised that there was someone they encountered outside of Lumière was in their 50s-60s.

That reaction made it pretty clear that people must not live past the painted number...and those who may have slipped through at first by turning 33 sometime after it was painted more than likely grommaged right there in that instant.

Assume she's 18. Her father would've been about 16 years older than her. Definitely possible.

Maybe she is just adopted and her biological father died a few years earlier.

This was my thought on it. After doing the math, assuming her father was 33 when he left for the expedition (since that seemed the norm for people joining, their final year before their Grommage), he could have easily gotten her mother pregnant at 16-17, or possibly younger since there were folks like Marie that pushed the insistance of having kids to leave a legacy.

But I think it's safe to assume she's at least 17-18. That, or as suggested she's adopted since the Orphanage is mentioned quite a bit in the prologue.
