FOV Issues With Widescreen
I'm playing on my Odyssey G9 4090 4k with i9 and everything is too zoomed in during game play and cut scenes. No FOV Slider so nothing I can do?

if you set fov just install Lyall mod
Clair Obscur Fix. in the ini file ClairObscurFix.ini change the value

; Set "Enabled" to true to enable the console.
; By default you can access it with the key "Tilde".
Enabled = false to true

during the game press "Tilde" and enter fov 90, fov 100 etc.

It works! Thank you to everyone who suggested the fixes.

Yeah, games are based on horizontality instead of verticality.
So if the game sees that your screen is 3840 wide, it will create a 4K image 16:9 cut in two.
Whereas if it used verticality the game would see that your screen is in 1080.

I set it to true, and press tilde, nothing happening in game. One of the update say it's enable option to remove black bars from pre-rendered cutscene which normally impossible. Can anyone confirm so I will just let it be? Game Pass version using xbox fix here.

The cutscenes are not pre-rendered, never had black bars because i use UUU unlocker so i can pause and move the cam in every cutscene

I've attempted to use UUU unlocker but I it just ends up freezing the game, I think the version I have may be an older one that's not compatible unfortunately (V5.4.2) but if you confirm the newer one does indeed work with the game I might give it a shot.

Edit: Got the new version from his Patreon and it worked like a charm. Got confused and downloaded an older one by mistake before and didn't realise 5.4.1.1 was the only one that worked with it. Good news as there's no more black bars for me in cut-scenes which is pretty much all I wanted, thanks for the advice. Seems like a great program.

Thanks for your help mate :okey:

NO, some of them is pre-rendered, some even in 4:3 as I think it's deliberately done by developers (the characters fit in that 4:3 without being crop out). I'm not talking about real-time cut scene here.

This works, but it creates a fisheye camera, so camera movement looks a bit weird. (and gives me motion sickness after a while)
is there any way to use the console to adjust camera boom offset instead of fov?
