Switch pro controller issue? (sprinting not working on diagonal inputs)
While sprinting, and tilting the stick into any of the 4 diagonals, most noticeable with top right and top left, the sprint will stop and change into a normal run untill the stick is tilted away from a diagonal input, even after changing my max input tilt to cover the whole stick in steam settings and enabling toggle to sprint ingame, anyone else having similar issues?

Happens to me as well, I use a Gulikit KK3 controller and it forces my character to start jogging the instant I go diagonally. It's extremely annoying and ruins the overall experience to say the least.

The only solution i have found is to move the camera while holding the sitck forward while running xD

In controller settings in the steam menu, I tried adjusting the left stick behavior and changed the stick response curve to aggressive, it seems to have fixed it.

I disabled deadzone completely then set aggressive as you said and it fixed my issue, hopefully it works for others too

I've the same issue on a Cyclone 2, setting dead zone to 0 and aggressive curve doesn't fix the issue.

Just to be specific, you need to select the "no deadzone" option not just set it to 0, that is what worked for me, if not, hopefully they get a fix out soon

This fix also works (I had the same problem with Cold Steel 2 and that fixed the issue):
