The game is UGLY
I’m crying. The game is ugly 💀
Despite it maxed out me by default at 4k epic settings .
It’s like it lacks sharpness and Cutscenes are blurry

——
EDIT : played 12hours, the game is great and a MUST HAVE . The design of the assets, the voice acting, the characters animation, the camera angles , musics , gameplay, player interface ergonomic, the village, wide with every NPC dubbed -> 10/10.
Even the 1%low framrate is stable and close to average fps.

Great job to the dev team.

Only the visual rendering looks terrible with aliasing. Like it’s rendered from 720p resolution to 4k even with dlaa 100%. I suppose UE5 was too complicated to optimise for a small team. I love the game though , the best I’ve played in 2025.

Disable all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ post effect like chromatic abberation, motion blur, vignette ( and even film grain). Really improve sharpeness

This has to be the dumbest advice I have ever seen. How will that make anything less blurry?

Yep all are disabled
or use sharpening as a band aid

I'm "only" playing it on 1440p with a mix of high and epic setting, and I love the graphics and the painterly look.

Looks great to me. Everything maxed. 1440p.

Yeah, run below 4k on a 4k screen. That will definitely make the image quality less blurry.

Honestly, could it be running 4k on a 5k series card? I've heard and seen video comparisons that 5k series cards struggle with some games. I remember when they were testing Cyberpunk and it was struggling then. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just asking the honest question.

Maybe if you have something lower than a 5080. And Cyberpunk has futureproof tech so not the best game to be using as a benchmark for 4k unless you are overclocking.

He does have lower than a 5080. He has a 5070, according to him.
