XeSS is as good as FSR on AMD, and better than FSR on Intel.
At least, that was true till FSR4, but most AMD GPU's don't support FSR4.
It'd be nice if it supported FSR4, but XeSS is basically always as good, or better, than all prior versions of FSR.
We can run games like this on our cards as well, but we need FSR and FG for it, when a new game doesn't have it, our cards' raw performance can't do it.
I fixed this by switching to "FSR Non-Linear sRGB Input" on FSR Settings (Press INSERT while in game to pop up the overlay), no more black flickering in cutscenes and seems stable.
"FSR Non-Linear PQ Input" from my testing does stops fickering but is blurry and adds further ghosting.
Using DLSS as the input instead of XeSS and currently running OpstiScaler v.0.7.7-pre8 (gamepass version but should be the same for the steam version)

Lossless Scaling is a trash with unplayable input lag.
XeSS is better than FSR unless you have rx9070 with FSR4.
But eh.. You.. You guys know that XeSS works pretty well right? On AMD cards too?
Can you run any FSR option using XeSS as input?
I have an amd card so I can't use select DLSS as input.
Using UE5 which has EVERYTHING out of the box and not implementing FSR (not even the v1.0 invented during WWI) means it was a choice to not implement it.
So, if you don't respect my hardware, if you don't give a damn of my hardware and money choices... why should I spent those very money on you?
During 1789 the whole of France fought for democracy: if now some of them is battling for nvidia (for sure not Virtuos which has released a gem for every hardware with the Oblivion Remastered), well that's not my battle (and to be honest nvidia doesn't need it: it can survive by its own merit well deserved by the way).
Expedition FSR0 for me.
Kind regards.
