Do I need to play previous games before this?

Do I need to play the previous 32 games before this one, or will I understand the story starting from this one? If I do need to play the previous games then where can I buy them? Thank you.

I would recommend playing the previous 32 games before 33 or you'll have no idea what is going on.

It's a funny joke, because as we all know, the expeditions count down from 100, so there's actually 67 other games to get through.
