I read the open world is (again) pretty empty. No superbosses. Just plain linear crap with simple rgp mechanics. I became highly allergic to these games. Big skip

There is no open world lol. There is an overworld which you can explore and yes there are secret bosses everywhere and other stuff to find.

He seems passionate about it and it helps when a fan of a game Lost Odyssey in this case, thinks highly of what seems like a similar game like Expedition 33.

It's not open world and never claimed to be, and there are optional superbosses.

Every review on youttube has been glowing. Talking Game of the Year material.

I am watching a streamer play it right now. Game looks gorgeous and the gameplay seems like it was made for me. If there is anything I would be nitpicking very hard would be the combat music that I did not dig too much.

Nothing but rave remarks from streamers and professional critics alike. The only outlier I've seen that just downright hated the combat was PCGamer.

Same was said of Cyberpunk when it first released - because (clearly) they were paid not to tell the truth about the state of the game.

Just sayin. Hopefully these guys have done something good here. We preordered it since they didn't charge the usual $70+, if only to support them in what they're trying to do.
