It's more linear. It's not an open world game. Even though it has an overworld where you can travel.
im expecting the story will be pretty linear reviews have pointed to things like final fantasy x for an example. maps look to be mid sized with some places to explore but for the most part one singular path forward. IMO though not everything needs to be a big open world. as long as its good.

aah true. well i didnt really mean open world like skyrim or GTA.. more or less if it was some sort of exploration and run round different places and not just "loading map 1. loading map 2 " and so on. but i saw on youtube now how it actually is..

Combat then? is there some cool moves? so far youtube have only shown the same over and over again..

There is an overworld that you can explore and the maps are kind of dungeon like where it is linear with nooks and crannies to explore. All in all more linear and no open world like Witcher or something. There are sidequests but there is no quest log.

Nah, from the reviews it's pretty linear, and not really much to explore outside the main story. I read on one review the little the things you find outside of the main game really aren't worth pursuing, unless collecting trinkets for the sake of collecting trinkets is your thing. There are extra challenges though.

I mean, they all look cool, and you unlock more as you progress in the game. Apparently we'll eventually reach a point where one can mix-and-match to customize loadouts, because you can only have six skills at a time or something like that.

but the game is long.. otherwhise it would not be fun for me.. all depends how fast you play and how much ofc.. but at least 10hrs + would be worth it i think.
