-Game should be like 50 hours.
-There is NG+ but i don't know exactly anything about it.
-The system indeed remembers me of Dark Souls for example with having to use certain savespots to save and level up and monsters respawning and stuff - But only this ^^
-Don't really know about items but more or less quite much equipment, weapons and stuff mainly from levelbosses and chestes and whatever.
-As long as there is not some kind of major storyblock which might happen (Don't know ^^) it seems that you can travel more or less free anywhere at any time.
-What kind of customisation? As much as i know every char has different playstyle in focus and there is like equipment, skills and perks to define your party.
Based on the reviews and supporting evidence, the game is roughly 60 hours long to Platinum/100% the game. 30 hours or so if you just rush the story, with the remainder being side-content.
There is a New Game+ mode, that provides new and different loot and the like should you partake.
Items are barely a thing: you have three different types of Potions, but that's it. Equipment is a thing, upgrade materials, etc.; so there's stuff to collect and reasons to explore, but not items specifically.
Cosmetically, you can customize the party's clothes and hairstyles. Gameplay-wise, you can of course customize your build(s). Stat points, skill points, how you set your Picos and Luminas, your weapon of choice; there's a lot going on here.
seeing as you know so much: what about game difficulty? I've heard some people say its a very tough game?
That said, there are three difficulty options, and apparently the hard one will kick the crap out of you if you do not master the Dodge/Parry/Jump defensive mechanics. Even by the late game on normal mode, you are expected to be good at it.
I've heard something like if you could do this 100% perfect all the time you could possibly beat the game without leveling up xD
If you completely suck at it you will most likely never get past certain points in the game xD
The last two souls like i tried were Code Vein and Lies of P. That gameplay is just not for me at all. Gameplay is just too stiff for me.
