It's an original setting with a plot that intrigues me. Turn-based combat is a plus for me because my last few RPGs have all been real time and I miss playing a good turn-based RPG. I also appreciate that it has a lower price point than many new bigger games.

Because youtubers and review sites said the game is best ever, better grab it before the hype ends.
The game looks like a typical modern cinematic console rpg with some jrpg styling.

Or maybe people are just excited for the game? When I watched the first trailer, it was very intriguing, the visuals looked splendid and it's somewhat rare to find a classic JRPG by a western dev. The high reviews is just the bonus really.

Gamers are slop eaters, especially RPG gamers. They might be the worst, they'll eat anything.

What intrigues me is the new IP, world setting, quality of voice acting/music/story. The combat looks pretty fun as well but I'm not completely sold on the QTE stuff.
