Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a beautiful looking game, and it's so unlucky that the release date clashes with The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered.
This is bound to seriously hurt the sales of this game.

Oblivion was fine, not so great though. I don't need any remaster for sure.

Oblivion is a nice trip to the past and its been overplayed so many times, I for that matter already hit for the Deluxe Expedition 33 and if it hurts it will hurt, everyone gets hurt by everything nowadays, this game will be fine!

I played Oblivion twenty years ago, so I'm not really interested in re-buying and re-playing it for €55. I already can't keep up with new-to-me single-player games that I want to play. I'm probably not the only person in that situation.

That aside, they are rather different RPGs and while there is some overlap, not everyone who likes JRPGs enjoys Western style RPGs like the Elder Scrolls games, and vice versa. Or from a different perspective: the more people play RPGs, the bigger the potential audience grows.

I got deluxe for Expedition 33 and don't care about oblivion much right now and will wait till later to play Oblivion when it is cheaper. It is a remaster and I will play it when i can later. It looks nice but this game Expedition 33 is the one i been waiting for to play most this year so far.
