This game looks and feels like real art

I´m sold - my first preordered game in over 15 years.

I preordered because I want pretty rpgs. More seriously, I agree with you. This game feels like it will be an experience. If this game is bad, I hope that the studio makes enough money to improve it with patches, or learn and try again. I miss the days of turn based rpgs being a graphical showcase.

I hate graphicsfaggotry, these kind of people would refuse playing any retro-looking game because it doesn't look good to them, when what they think is good is just realism not something abstract

It has a lot to do with how the studio approached the game, they approached it like a piece of art, and hence it took on the appearance of art. They've gone on record saying that they used the video game format as the means of telling a story that wasn't possible in movie format, essentially they approached this like they were making a movie with gameplay, which's why it's heavily cinematic.

I preordered the deluxe version too because this game looks absolutely amazing and i am so excited to play. A friend shared this spoiler free review of the game with me and this reviewer i trust and he gave it a 9.5 and says it could very well win GOTY. It is a work of Art.

Honestly they sold me at overworld, good way to focus on better content. Open world is overrated and pretty much ruined ff7 rebirth. Most of what they did is combine the best parts of ff9, ff13, dark souls, legends of dragoon. Kept to an overwold, focus on a great combat, progression, storytelling and art and not needless padding.

They really nailed the art. My only concern is performance since it's using UE5.
