During the enemies turn to attack you can actively dodge or parry, with a successful parry being rewarded with a high dmg counterattack. The downside of the parry is it has a small window unlike the dodge. So you can play it safe with a easy dodge or do a high risk high reward parry. It's basically the best form of turn based.

Yep, this right here - the younger generations were raised on tablets and smartphones and don't have a clue about how to operate actual PCs or anything more complex than that.
This is just like a few generations ago when people couldn't bake or cook from scratch, because they'd gotten used to buying boxed/packaged things like cake mix.
my college professor first term had to teach the new generation how to actually open folders.
