Character creator

Is anybody else refusing to buy until a character creator is included? When will devs learn that we want to craft our own avatars?? We can no longer rely on devs to give us attractive women and men.

Do you also complain that Mario games don't have character creators?

There's a huge difference between playing established characters (like here and any main popular story you've ever played, like FF7 Cloud vs Doom's HappyGuy vs GoblinSlayer's Goblinslayer) and being able to create a blank slate adventurer character

This is a pre-established story we get to be a part of through the eyes of the characters going through it. You see the story from -their- viewpoint as you play them, not your self-insert avatar

Also, if you don't like how any of the existing characters look like in this game (which i disagree, if a Ginger haired woman exists it means the game is unaltered as they are the Canary in the goldmine that gets washed out first if political changes happen), why would you think the company that made those characters that you don't like, would allow presets and options in a character creator that you -would- like?

If you truly don't like any of the characters then no amount of character creator would solve this issue in this particular game for you

Nor is it meant to (seen this thread pop up in multiple games like Path of Exile 2 / Last Epoch etc, yet never in Final Fantasy 7 or the like... why?)

You get to customize their clothing and hairstyles, so...there ya go. The game is relying on preestablished characters to tell a story, like...hundreds and hundreds of games before it.

Gamer's are getting really entitled. There are plenty of games for you with character creators. Go play one of those.

A character creator is always welcomed BUT when they're attractive, it negates the need for one.

Exactly. I wonder if its the real reason for some of these complains.
I think that Wukong had similar wannabe problems before launch.

What is so bad about redheads? I mean from the point of view of political activist (fanatic). Do they have some list of "the worst visual elements" where readhead is on the top or something like that?

This games characters look amazing and they from what i have seen will have very deep stories of their background life and their experiences. why would a game like this even consider giving a blank slate character when it is by design a game made to tell a specific story about specific created characters. Having a creator would not even make sense for this type of game.

don't try an argue with op. they will give out stupid facts as to why every game requires a character creator an eventually you will fall into the trap of actually believing them
