Only Games Radar used the phrase 'return to form' none of the others used it.

Games Radar is owned by Future PLC
IGN is owned by Ziff Davis Inc
Game informer is owned by Gunzilla.

You got any more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or what?

Go watch any of the videos where they literally collage all the reviews using the term. But thanks for signaling everyone to put your opinion into the trash where it belongs.
If you can supply a link I'd happily educate myself.
I can't find anything except for some stuff someone on the forums made up.
Eurogamer just gave it 4 out 5, if you are interested
Reviews are in and the couple I saw are really good

9/10 IGN

no one cares or trusts IGN, but at least we know its beginner Friendly.
92/100 based on 19 review. Holy crap, this better be true. 22 hours left.
IGN never let me down when a game bombs they know it so I won't buy it.

i mean they gave cuphead a bad score.
I tend to agree with RPS reviews, they also said it was really good.

That was one of the reviews that convinced me to grab the game.

Yeah, same here. I bought it after reading lol

This paragraph in particular has me very excited to play it.

"Off the critical track - nestled at the end of tucked-away side paths in dungeons that can run intimidatingly labyrinthine - are the small details that elevate journey to adventure. Pale, oddly serene monsters with requests. A plaintive manor, unmoored from time and space, that you'll return to a dozen times through a dozen secret doors. Goofy beach minigames where you play air hockey with exploding puppets or attempt infuriating parkour challenges with controls designed for anything but. An entire food chain of optional mega bosses both secret and brazen enough to loom over the map, daring you to come have a pop. It's a world that feels wide enough to make must-come-back later notes so often I'm left perplexed by no in-game ability to do so."

For once I'm glad to have been wrong
This is looking pretty damn good
I haven't been so excited for a new IP for quite a while. One more day to go. Woohoo!

Review Embargo's always make me not pre order, i mean what are they hiding, why are they stopping people talking about their game..

Seems suspect so i never pre order anymore.
...
Sadly i no longer trust that reviewer after Dragonage Veilguard.
Review Embargoes have been a thing for a long time. It's not even a "we're hiding behind the embargo" thing, really, but just another business practice. I mean, Sandfall is still dropping trailers as-of yesterday; nobody would bother to look at them if they could just beeline for the reviews and plot summaries and Let's Plays instead. The Embargo also gives every reviewer/outlet an equal chance to get through the game and form their opinion of it; as in, it won't be a "first done first published" race for attention and views.

As for Mort...your opinion of him is irrelevant to my original point of bringing him up, which was "patience, the reviews are almost here."

Although, to go further down the rabbit hole: he liked Dragon Age, so now he's untrustworthy? Some of us enjoyed Veilguard; it's not an impossibility. You can knock his taste, I guess, but unless you're calling him out as being paid for by Bioware or whomever, his trustworthiness shouldn't have gone anywhere because of one review you don't agree with.
Liking it is one thing, GOTY however is ludicrous and a sign of terrible judgement, which incidentally is in large part what you are looking for in a reviewer. Another dogshite take from the fake 100%er.
