As a person who didn't read the post I also appreciate the spoiler text!
I love the commitment to the "33" bit, with the level-based trophies and the 33 music records. I'm also guessing that "Version" is a misspelling/mistranslation of Verso? That would line up with the presumption out there that Verso is our mystery sixth party member.
Just letting you know :)
Some spoiler speculation based partly on this though...
Ok, so appears the Paintress might not be the final boss, sort of saw that coming, even the one song's lyrics hint she (her name is Alicia apparently) isn't evil and figured there would have to be some twist there.
One of the voice actors said, be prepared to cry. A lot that could do that, but one thing jumps out at me. The devs mention Lost Odyssey and FF X as inspirations, and thinking that they might be pulling a page from the latter on the ending here. "Peace At Last" - defeating this Simon might be like ending the Spira cycle with the Fayth being too tired to keep wanting to summon Dream Zanarkand. I hope this isn't the case, but might be that the ending is ending everything for them.
However, achievements also show that you do return to Lumiere after leaving at some point. Could be this Simon guy is the real creator behind it all and could be his workshop is in the real world. So hopefully Lumiere can continue. Maybe one of them take his place?[/spolier]
I can see why this trophy is divisive. I don’t mind Hard mode in games, been doing most JRPGs… but some 3D, fast dodging or lots of screenshake are just too much for my brain sometimes so am a bit glad there isn’t one.
Curious if there are missable ones or easily missed. Or if it can be done in 1 playthrough.
same issue, did you find a solution?
