what yall playing and short game recommendations while waiting for Expedition 33 releasing in 21 days
Hello sorry to ask early . but as a HSR refugee I've been looking forward to this Expedition 33 more really . It's just HSR is not interesting to play anymore its just gotten boring .

But I'm bored and Idk what to play really while waiting between WuWa and Girls Frontline 2 patches

So I'm probably gonna play some non turn based games cause i don't want to get burned out . So im subsiding on Fragpunk, Crossout from Gaijin games their games are known to be grindy so yeah

. but I'm gonna drop them when Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 released

Platform is PC if asked

I don't know what any of those games are you mentioned so I am not sure I can recommend much you might like, but here are some I'm killing time with.

I always play Forza 5 and do an hour or 2 of races sometimes. Good while listening to some music.
Started another full play through of Armored Core 6.
Thinking about purchasing First Berserker of Khazan, but can't recommend as I haven't played it. Same for you; something to grind/play while I wait a month lol.
I also play some campaigns in Total War:Warhammer with a buddy which is pretty fun co-op.
There are a few other games I am looking to purchase I would throw on the list, but they are all early access games and I tend to stay away from those. Still waiting on Hades 2 to release fully before purchase.

Unfortunately, there aren't really any sells going on for me to go on a recommending spree, but those games are what I have been playing. It sounds like you might be in a slight gaming limbo while anticipating a new game you want to play.

Biggest thing is wanting to play a game to pass the time is way different than playing a game because you want to enjoy it fully. If i am playing a game to pass the time I find my mind doesn't stay focused on the game and rather continues to wander about whatever there is to think about.

Good luck to ya!

I got SMTV:V when it was on sale and it's really fun, it's kind of a shame SMT games are so hard most people give up before the story gets really good

I've been playing AI Limit (almost 100%, just need other endings really) and Atelier Yumia, which feels a bit closer to Clair Obscurs combat than a lot of JRPGs.
Atelier released a new game recently.

Non-turn based? I recently enjoyed Ender Magnolia and its predecessor Ender Lilies; they aren't super long and they'd be a great fit if you like dark fantasy stories and anime art style.
As for me, I'm wrapping up a second playthrough of Persona 3 and planning on playing a lot of Gnomes when it comes out tomorrow.

Picked it up a few days ago and have been enjoying learning the boss dances. Playing a heavy counter build.

I hear a lot of people compare it to Nioh, but I've never played that either. Might check out Sekiro again after this as it has renewed my interest in that game a bit.

rise of the ronin is absolutely excellent. its an 8/10 game imo. its flawed, but dam man is it fun n cool. especially if that time period interests u. we finally got an assassins creed in japan, but it came from Koei Tecmo.

Sekiro, in my opinion is the best, souls like game ever created. Just top notch.
It's not a short game but I'm wrapping up Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. It's great.

Also revisiting Kirby and the Forgotten Land to wrap up some of the post-game content I didn't finish ahead of the upcoming DLC.

It is, and not only that, it's easily From Software's best work bar none.

I'm of a similar "dilemma", in-that I plan to get Lunar Remastered Collection despite Clair Obscur dropping 6 days later. Lunar 1 + 2 were some of my absolute favorite games growing up, so I can't just ignore their return to "the modern age", you know?
