Game runs great everywhere but camp

For some reason, when I get to camp my framerate is cut in half with resource usage going through the roof. This isn't just an optimization issue or everywhere would be like this but it's literally just camp, the one spot with nothing going on but a couple npc's by a campfire and some music. Makes no sense.
