Judging a game purely based on what others say about it is just silly. Went in blind, loved it. End of story.
its just a solid game, it has its issues, but people simply enjoy narrative driven games.
^ This.
IDK what this mentality is with people. When the game came out posts were all over the place from people never even hearing about the game, they just saw it randomly on steam and got it.
The vast majority don't trust influencers anymore. It's wild to assume that after over a year of no one listening to them that people just "banded together" to do it again for just one game lol.
Also OP that means you pretty much didn't exist in the 90s as a gamer, you were 5 in 2000, what were you playing, Teletubbies+?
its decent, nothing more.
Seriously? The 90's were practically the golden age of video games.

You're probably thinking if comic books. (90's comics are a punchline)
Also it's very much not AAA. It's clearly indie.
So many janky things. Lots of people play the prologue and then call it the Mona Lisa on social media.
