How does greater x work?

Essentially you support your team with buffs and debuffs
My question is, how do greater powerful, greater rush, greater shell luminas work? If Monoco has it as the buffer and the other two members don't have these lumina, do they still get the 15% increase to the buff or do they get regular pwerful/rush/shell?

Pretty sure you need to have it on the character getting the buff, not the one doing the buffing.

i'm not sure but i know it's very easy to check. it'll say Greater Powerful etc when you apply it or it wont.

Only one of each buff can exist at a time, and any new instances replace old ones, including their strength and duration. You don't want two buffers, such as Sciel and Lune, in the same group if they don't have equal strengths/durations.

Yes i know that but that's not really my question. Jsut wanted to know if I have to equip the powerfl luminas on the buffer or the buffed
