Is there a seam running across his chest for you? Like there's a gap in the texture? I'm not using any texture mods, but just the ASI loader mod for unlocked cut-scene fps.

i wear this outfit 24/7. but they left his chest looking like a plastic ken doll's. :((

I think it's just how outfits are implemented. The bare chest is actually part of the outfit, not the model underneath it.
