Red woods - I've been had
You can reach the red woods early in the game, but it warns you it is dangerous so I avoided it. I finally came back again in Act 3. The only fight there is an optional fight. Admittedly I wouldn't have had the funds required to finish the quest in there but still.

You didn't even go in to see WHY it was dangerous? Worst case is that you die and go back to the entrance of the zone.

Yep.

Also, you get a good picto early on, so it's worth grinding the hidden arena for some chroma imo.
