Who are the Writers? [SPOILERS?]

They are mentioned several times as responsible to the Dessendre manor fire that killed Verso, and we are told Clea went to fight them.
Is there any additional info about what's going on there?

I like the idea of the background conflict that caused the death of important characters and set the events of the game in motion is between different disciplines of art, painting and literature, only they're using magic. Maybe the writers can write things into existence? Could also add a third faction of sculptors whose statues come to life.

As far as I understand, it's not exactly their job, but the fire starts from their movements. Maybe they just convince Alicia and she starts the fire or it was an acident
Because I don't remember the line that the Screenwriters start it.

One of the most interesting question in the game and i realy hope that they will continue this story.
As for me DLC is to small part to tell the stry about them. Especialy that Clea is fighting them. And as we understand Clea is more powerful that Alicia. Maybe other fights too.
And as i remebmer they(devs) told that there will not be any DLC.
Hope we will find something new in Game Awards

Incidentally, there was a DLC in Alan Wake 2 that revolved around a painter and his works.
