CPU Requirements.
So in the description of the store page it talks about the CPU requirement being a "AMD Ryzen 7 5800X". Well just as my luck has it, my CPU is a "AMD Ryzen 7 5700X" am I screwed or should I be able to play this game? I have all the other requirements met.

Combined with a RTX 2080. 1440p, DLSS set to Quality, nearly the entire game locked 60 FPS apart from a few scenes.
You will be more then fine with your CPU.

2 hour window for refunds on Steam. I would say you probably are fine, but test it. The first 30-45 minutes you should be able to tell for sure.

I usually like to meet the recommended when I want to buy a game. Don't think I misunderstood anything unless I'm clueless on what you mean.
i play on a ryzen 5 2600x and a 1660, game runs smooth on low and still looks great on low.

On my 5600X all game threads are consistently a bit below 50% and it's able to keep 50-60FPS (the GPU is a bottleneck obviously). Potentially it should be able to handle 100FPS+.

Official requirements usually aren't too accurate...

You exceed the minimum requirement by a far margin.

Most games work like that and are usually single core limited. One core at 100% and CPU limited below 50% cpu utilisation is common.

I know, that's why I looked at threads utilisation, not CPU utilisation.

Just to be sure that the game doesn't do anything funny I downclocked my CPU to 2GHz and it's still bottlenecked by the GPU most of the time (except for loading times which are visibly longer). Framerate only dropped a little bit to 45-55FPS.
