can't even get through a battle without the game freezing. Don't know what "update" happened with this game, but im going to refuse to play it until i see a fix.

Have you tried adjusting the graphics settings? Turn them down?

Also have you tried verifying files?
what do you mean you 'refuse' to play a game that is unplayable...do you have a choice?

i've seen people having issues with some graphics card driver update, can't remember which one it was but you can probably find it by searching the forum.
Runs fine for me. If the game has literally started freezing regularly out of the blue (as in, locks up completely, necessitating a forced restart), then check your CPU and GPU temps, things things like that. That sort of thing can be a sign of hardware failure.

Every other game works fine for me, as did this game. Now I too get a Windows sound and crash to desktop within seconds of loading the game.

I used launch option

-dx11

and i haven't had a crash when trying to beat a certain nevron in a certain place where you have to fly to get to. Before i added the launch option, the game would crash soon as i got the nevron to about 10-20% health and right in the middle of my attack

I switched a new skill i learned for Monoco and the game crashed soon as i left the menu.

What specs?
Intel CPU by any chance? Intel extended warranty to 5 years if such problems happen.

You could try making sure Windows is okay by typing sfc /scannow into an admin terminal prompt. It's fixed some of my random gaming issues often enough to recommend it as a panacea. You may also want to do an internet search on how to repair DISM.

Windows updates and also 3rd party driver updates can sometimes fail to be completely updated correctly, and you can end up with components that are incompatible in certain circumstances, and the reason these components don't get updated correctly is because they're flagged as in use by the system.
Are you using mods? I was having some crashing with a UE5 settings mod. Removed it and no more issues. If not then I have no idea. I hope you get it sorted.

Intel offers extended warranty. But try to update your BIOS first as it may help. The problem is caused by too high voltage setting in older BIOS.
