Verso gunslinger build is insane.
Burning shot, double burn, marking shot, rewarding mark, all the en energizing turns, versatile, augmented aim, beneficial contamination, double mark, augmented attack and whatever else you can find to buff your base attack.

Equip the Dualiso sword and you will solo groups of enemies in one turn and kill bosses within two to three turns. Its absolutely insane. Builds up perfection to rank A in one turn.

This is the most powerful character on my team and I have Maelle decked out.

Such a cool build.

Yeah, pre-act 3 was verso gaming. I'm doing another playthrough though and got Maelle's Medalum. Slap on two dead energy and she can gun down trash mobs faster than Verso (cause dualiso has poopoo base damage and starting in virtuoso is kind of OP). Though on bosses, I think Lune is still the GOAT, either doing 36K+ damage in one turn if lucky, otherwise 2.

Really like dualiso for defenceless+powerful and free aim. And once you're S rank, you can follow it up with Follow up, which is kinda useless before act 3 though.

Nice! ill check it out. I really like the dualiso because of the second turn which allows you to apply all those burns over again. I know there is cheater which could work for maelle. Yeah Lune is pretty crazy. Elemental Genisis is nuts.

I'm dumb, it's 12K, I don't know where I got 36k from. Elemental Genesis only does 8k (cause 8 hits), however Lightning Dance costs 7 AP compared to Genesis 4 AP. Post Act 3, Lightning Dance is still better but also single target.

I go in with Kamikaze Lune to soften the tough crowds. After that if anyone is left Verso takes care of them.

I have to agree with the pictos that give you one more AP any time you gain AP and energizing shots [20% that a free aim shot gives AP and with the AP bosster picto you can gain 2 AP on a free aim] you can machine gun verso before getting down to zero AP. I had a standard encounter with I chained together 25 shots, did my basic attack and got another turn and chained 11 more and broke the last enemy with a combo basic attack.

Brrrrrrrrrrt.

For the machine gun build i think that the Corpeso is better than the Dualiso. Yes, you have to equip the Lumina for the second turn and the damage is lower, but you get way more burn on the enemy and the extra burn damage from the weapon is way higher then the difference in the weapon damage. And if you build your team around burn then the difference will even be greater.

I agree with this but Contorso is a personal favorite of mine that I switch around to play when in the mood of lightning strike spam.

That is a good weapon too.

I think every weapon can be used (exept maybe the weapons without skills, but only since you could only build a general build and not a weapon based build) and that is a good place to be in for a game. Choose the weapon and style of play you want and have the most fun. And that is a great motivater for NG+ since you could then run a different build with different weapons on NG+.

I do not see how that setup can come even close to properly built Maelle 1-shot build or just general purpose build using Stendhal.

Brrrrt-Verso builds have been popping that have zero turned Simon.

If you combine that with thunderfall from lune, along with her giving the weapon that does burn on critical hit, you can get some insane burn stack in there. I could easily put target on up to 150 burn stacks, before the monster could even attack, and that's with a unoptimized build.

What is the difference between a build that kills an boss in one round an another build that kills the boss in one round, but does 5 times more damage? The answer is there is no difference. You kill them with one round.

One needs much more "Materials" for doing so, the other one is Maelle, really cheap for the lazy people hahaha

I don't personally use one shot builds but there is nothing wrong in using them, anyone can have fun as they want and that's perfectly fine as it should be.

Endgame build let's you fire with your gun quite alot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Psmn6yreoX0
