While I overall agree that CO is somewhat overhyped and that it's more art and style than substance (and the story falls apart in the final act), it has a truly unique art style, the best voice acting, an excellent OST and a story, even if it does fall apart, that gets people to talk about it all. But the gameplay is pretty basic.
KCD2 is mostly boring though in my opinion. Just like last year Wukong was an alright game but vastly overhyped by some, all you ever did was beat up creatures/people, and the final region felt very undercooked.
But should CO win then not because of "woke" judges, there is literally nothing woke about CO.
Devs lacking any sort of imagination and just following trends is how you get games like KCD2.
But yea - its overrated. Sure It has its great Moments but the longer you Play more weaknesses Show Up.
having an opinion doesnt mean its right. go cry more.
I also don't own the game. But I completed it on Game Pass. That way the game only cost 10 bucks to play.
There is nothing "woke" about CO or KCD2. Stop being childish. Both are great games and wildly different.
