So far based only on the trailers (since I haven’t watched or read any interviews the dev may have done, if any) it looks promising, interesting story and concept, the women look feminine and attractive, and there’s even a redhead featured amongst the main cast, which are nowadays almost extinct/replaced in media.

Basically the OP’s concern is very valid nowadays but so far it looks promising for this game, but only time will tell.

No its not, by this point there’s only 2 types of ppl that would think its paranoia, either those pushing the agenda, or maybe folk whose line of work is very separate from any form of art, because all aspects of art, be it film, gaming, music, dance, etc, reek of it and everyone involved has had to deal with it for well over a decade at this point, that said, many non-art related industries have been getting hit by it also, so in general it’s very hard to believe ppl that claim to have their head in the sand, not impossible but unlikely.

The woke ouroboros requires manufactured outrage from both the pro-DEI camp and the anti-woke reactionaries. Multiple books written and videos made about this topic, and the end goals (marketing to whales from other demographics, the outrage itself as a marketing ploy, etc.).

Considering that nothing about Expedition 33 suggests there's a woke agenda going on, y'all need to relax. And if the bad news comes that SBI or some other terrible consulting firm is on board, then by all means, voice your discontent in a reasonable way that isn't insane.

(Reasonable != the 17 different threads on this sub-forum about people upset that they might have to play as a woman.)

No one knows. We have to wait to see. But the Women look like women. There is actual female features on the girls in this game. The men look like men. People should post about dei when its obvious. I get its fun to do so, but it gets to be a little too much. Go to the Dragon Age Veilguard game and jump in over there with dei talk. Because that ♥♥♥♥ is obviously laced in agenda.

I remember how this SBI stuff was not talked about much. We did not even know it till they started posting what games they worked with.
Point being, I think they are wishing they stayed in the darkness, invisible to the gaming community, with all this unwanted attention to their wicked work.
And I think it is very possibly that they will go into incognito mode again, just for the sake of keeping getting contracts with studios. What I am sure though, they are not going to bankrupt any time soon. The grifting is strong with SBI.

I sure hope not. The game looks great, and the setting is so gritty, I don't even know how you can fit SBI stuff here. But I'm sure some characters will be gay or will tell stories about their gay friends/family members. I know it's a game from the western devs, so I kinda expect that to happen anyway, but for me it's okay as long as they are not trying to shove this thing into my face and there are no transformer characters.

For the love of all things good, I just wish developers would create a story that completely separates itself from anything tied to current-day politics. I don't care about the characters' sexual preferences, identities, or any labels—just give us a solid fantasy story that transports us to another dimension for a few hours. A story that focuses on compelling characters, an engaging plot, and imaginative worlds—without forcing in divisive agendas. I want developers to have the courage to tell the story they truly want to tell, without bending to DEI-driven mandates or outside pressures
