It's not even metal either. Person is insane. It's ballad rock with orchestral backing. For a recent comparison, it's way more similar to Linked Horizon's catalog over Mick Gordon's.

This reminds me of Nightwish....I think that genre of music that mixes orchestral and metal is called symphonic metal. Maybe that's why I'm really liking that release trailer more than I should.
