I said the same thing. Lost odyssey vibe for the world's design and feel with a splash of Legend of Dragoon and Shadow hearts for the combat mechanics and Persona 5 for the stylistic menus.

I was hoping Xbox would have announced a Lost Odyssey remaster, but this could be good as well. Hopefully it is as fun as the trailer looked.

Definitely Shadow Hearts. I hope there's a mode where that's automatically clicked instead for those like me who just want to relax and choose the moves without all those QTE shenanigans.
