Yeah... totally couldn't have anything to do with Elmo actively platforming right wing (and I'm not talking garden variety conservatism here) and conspiracy theorist agendas on Twitter by sharing it on his feed subscribed to by millions of users. Couldn't be that Hitlergruß he's performed at the inauguration... twice. And please don't excuse that crap with autism. Couldn't be that he's actively trying to influence the elections in other countries after getting what he wanted in the US (for now) by cozying up to their far right elements, like with the AFD in Germany, and amplifies their message. Couldn't be that he makes a spectacle out of dismantling the US over the last couple of weeks. Nah... people just don't need a new Tesla right now. Sure.
And terrorism. A word as overused as Nazi these days. No one is afraid or terrorized because a free standing Tesla dealership in some industrial / commercial park gets torched at 3am on a Monday morning. They made damn sure no one is around, property damage isn't terrorism unless it's vital infrastructure which a car dealership most definitely isn't. Call it anarchism if you want, but terrorism this isn't.
I think it's got a lot more to do with Musk's interference in politics. In Europe, where we actually care about the environment and don't just see it as a resource to be exploited (and for that matter don't elect convicted felons as president) the overall electric vehicle market grew by 37% in January, Tesla's sales plunged by 45% during the same period. Meanwhile, second-hand Teslas have flooded the market, because nobody wants to be seen dead with one.
Mind you, I do think that there's a general perception in Europe that American cars are crap.
again teslas are poorly made ♥♥♥♥. the people who could afford them and wanted a tesla got it. theres not a new type available so sales decreased. people who can afford to buy multiple $60k+ cars like good cars and they usually are either knowledgeable about cars or know someone that is. those types will never buy more than 1 of the same kinda tesla because teslas are low quality over priced barely functioning ♥♥♥♥. could be wrong but im pretty sure its also the worst EV on the market.
the left has hated musk for a couple years so thats not recent either
tesla doesnt make good products
the need for EVs has decreased
there are far better EVs on the market
this is why tesla's stock price has decreased. if it had anything to do with musk not being a leftist then this would have happened years ago. bad products eventually will cause a company trouble. depending on the company it may take time but the crash in their stock price will happen
Look at the numbers. EV in the EU adoption is rising while Tesla sales are plummeting. Their product has been just as ♥♥♥♥ in '24 (Sure, the WankPanzer had a negative impact on the average quality... but you couldn't get one in the EU anyway) but people bought them, suddenly they care about quality?
ah yes my bad genghis was number 3 while hitler was number 4. point still remains. teslas have ALWAYS been ♥♥♥♥ musk being right leaning also isnt new information and neither is the left's hatred of him. as i stated it can take time for bad products to destroy a company's value but it will happen. look at ubisoft as an example they have been making worse and worse games since about 2015 and only in the last couple years has that started negatively impacting the company's value (its now basically worthless and their on the edge of bankruptcy)
how about disney? they have run multiple massive IPs to the ground over the course of 14 years and it wasnt until... i believe it was 2023 that all the poor sales and poor opinions by customers started having a massive impact on them
bad products can destroy even the biggest company it simply takes time.
Maybe the devs should have been toxic on Twitter, the game reviewers lied about this game, there timeliness issues like things/ words/ movies ect that wouldn't exist during the past parts of this game. People are sick of lezbian characters.
This is a awful take based on one of the Steven king books. I could go on. But, this game doesn't live up to the hype. The camera features are sub par. Even by ps2 standards. The story telling is sub par even by 90s standards.
I just can't see how this game is a 9/10 when it feels like a 6/10 if I'm gonna be real.
The visuals look fine but everything else feels by the numbers.
Life is Strange Double Exposure was a 10/10 for me in the first ~3 chapters and I was ready to declare it the best LiS game to date... until I played the rest and was left with nothing but disappointment with how it (mis)handled all the plotholes, red herrings and the non-ending.
I'm enjoying Bloom and Rage so far, but I don't think anyone should be reviewing it with scores until April.
It can take time, but this isn't taking time, it's a nose dive.
Musk probably always has been right wing, but until recently most people just took him as a clown who designed some innovative products, past month or two people have seen him for what he really is.
I do agree with you though, the writing has been on the wall on him for me since he called out those divers who were rescuing trapped kids in Thailand.
Do you mean demand? - The 'need' for EVs most definitely hasn't declined. Consumer demand for them might fluctuate, but the need is very present.
And that demand certainly hasn't declined in Europe. Yet the decline in Tesla sales there is far greater than the decline in sales within the US (only 10% for the same time period).
There has been for a while, and Tesla has certainly lost it's first mover advantage. But Tesla was previously considered to have a positive brand image and so it held its market share with sales figures rising year on year to 2024. That's no longer the case due to Musk's own antics and his association with Trump.
No one demands that. Silly troll. Do you think about gay people a lot? Cause you seem to be awfully upset about them existing.
No actually plenty of people do. Their just a very small yet very vocal group
