This game is super shadow heavy. I have shadows turned down as low as it can go, texture at max, and almost everything else at at least medium. Try and turn the other detailing spec to DLAA as well.

I can run Cyberpunk at ultra, so unfortunately from my experience, this game just lacks some optimization.

I have a 5800x3d and a 4090. I play on the highest setting and have drops to 60 fps.

Game runs pretty badly on all hardware, I saw GPU usage as low as 60% at times. It's just poorly optimised sadly.

Yes, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with GTX 4070 Ti here. Just barely 50 fps on low settings in the bar. And the PC is a vulcano - heat and sound wise. Even with headphones.
Hopfully they an patch some pervormance issues.

Unreal Engine 5, kinda to be expected. Very demanding, a bit more than it needs to be. Basically needs upscaling on anything but the strongest hardware.

I'm getting 100% gpu utilization, no issues there. My 3080 just isn't fast enough.

With framegen im getting around 150-170 fps. But it hasn't to be necessary.

I play this game on my newest gaming laptop with an I9 processor, 32GB Ram, RTX 4080 12vram. On very high settings with dlss and frame generation on i get 100 to 160 fps on average. With only dlss on 60 to 100 fps, without dlss or frame generation 30 to 60 fps. So yeah this game really needs dlss on and even better frame generation if you have a 40xx or 50xx card. Without it you might struggle on the fps side.

It's seriously bad. I'm playing on a PS5 Pro for what's worth. And it's by far the worse performance I've seen out of a game so far on the machine. Not only is it capped ad 30, it clearly goes under often, and has horrid framepacing, plus, egregiously slow texture loading. And believe me I wish it wasn't the case. I'm powering through this mess bc I really love Don'tNod and what they're going for, I really want to support the devs, but it's hard. And it's put me off of buying the game for now. Playing on PS Plus.
Lossless scaling helps if u don't have in-built frame gen.
I'm giving up on this game for the remainder of the year. I'm done seeing my Steam Deck restart every time the game decides to crash. I made it to the deer recording scene and bam, another one... 🤦🏿.
