Is Swann autistic ?

I loved LiS ( I hated the other sequels ) and so I looked at some videos on YT
I don't want to join anyone's side. No politics PLS !!! This is real nontoxic question.

I hate those mumbling/stuttering character who act like 10 year olds even though they are 15+ or even adults. And there's a lot of that in games lately. So I'm asking. Is Swann autistic or just another shy, babbling looser I have to play as?

For example, Max was a little socially awkward but still a normal girl with a normal IQ. Swann next to her looks like .....slow.
( I don't mean that in a bad way )

I think Swann is suffering from low-confidence. Despite suffering from low-confidence due to numerous reasons, to lazy to list them. I think she has trouble finding common ground with others, she like bug, she like labeling plants, and stuff. I lost my train of thought...I'm off to bed.

Swann is a perfect example of introvert/low-esteem, those are not sings of being autistic

she's just late bloomer, so lil childish, introverted without friends, and US school system does not help to make childhood friends in contrast when kids elsewhere are spending 8+ years together everyday with same classroom since age 6. Also mom plays big role here, not letting a bird fly from the nest, as we see at very start of a game or throughout the game as well. She is probably also responsible for Swann's weight in first place.

From someone who is autistic: there's no doubt in my mind she's in the spectrum. Max also has autistic traits, by the way 😊

Autism is on a pretty huge spectrum but I'm telling you, each of them would pass the RAADS-R test.

She has a lot of fixations and she fidgets with her hands, don't worry, I was wondering the same thing too! Either way, Swann is a great character

The impression I get is that she's mildly autistic. Even as an adult she's still kinda awkward. While it does depend on the conversation options you choose to some extent, even in the ones you have no choice of (e.g. cut scenes), she's still awkward. I'm not convinced she always makes direct eye contact either, just the way her eyes move when the 'camera' is looking at her. Of course autism is such a varied condition that people have different traits and manifestations. It's like they say, once you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism.

But I really like her, she's my favourite protagonist since Max Caulfield.

she has low self esteem, is shy awkward and has geeky interests/hobbies. that doesnt = autism
