Bugged memoir footage?

I've been having a lot of fun playing around with the memoirs and getting them to look exactly how I want them, but I noticed that the changes I made to the footage wouldn't save sometimes. This was especially an issue with the girls' personal memoirs. I thought it was because of my save-scumming at first - like maybe I edited the video and reloaded to a point before making the edit so it didn't save or something? I tried again a few different times to get it to save the changes I made but it just kept resetting, putting all the clips in chronological order. Eventually, I fixed them again, and deleted all the clips I didn't want in the videos, but now I have permanent empty spaces where clips should go that I cant fill.

Has anyone else ran into this problem??

Those "permanent empty spaces" were addressed and should have been fixed by the latest patch, but editing footage you made is still not recommended and not bug-free.

If you film something in some early scene and replace the recording at some later point, it can happen that the game remembers multiple objects as "being used in memoir."

For example, if you record all the graffiti in scene 5, replace them with those from scene 6, and later replace them again, it may happen that you get a triple number of recordings "stared."

Stared footage can't be deleted and if graffitti and girls footage eats tripple space, you might have a problem with completing those "43/43's".
