It's not really a "Free" anything since you bought the full game (Tape 1 and Tape 2) since they didn't bother releasing Tape 1 first by itself, then Tape 2 (like Life is Strange did with their episodic nature)
These Devs/Companies have to stop throwing around the word "Free" when they aren't giving anyone anything for free (like CIV 7 talking about "free" patches/updates to fix their unfinished game)
What if people don't like Tape 1? now they'd be stuck with Tape 2 (if they buy the game now and if the person can't get a refund for finishing Tape 1) they should have released the Tapes separately but if they wanted to make as much money as quickly as possible, I guess that is a reason to do what they did.
What if Tape 2 doesn't get done? what if it gets delayed? doesn't get released? sucks compared to Tape 1... see? lots of issues sticking both Tapes into one.
