By creating threads like this, you're giving them exactly what they want - a good hearty laugh and satisfaction that they know they've got to you, how can no one ever see this? Yes, they should move on with their lives I agree, but you defenders should also do the exact same thing. Them hating a game you like should have zero affect on your life. The best way to counter haters, wherever you stand, is by saying NOTHING. You drain all power from them by doing that one very simple, easy thing that, quite literally, requires nothing at all. I don't get why people find this so difficult. You're not helping the situation with posts like this, only throwing more gasoline onto a house fire.
"Don't feed the trolls" is a quote we've all read that has been circling the internet for basically 2 decades, yet no one ever seems to heed the words. No hate, but my advice to you would be to take your own advice, and move along. If you enjoy the game, that's great, enjoy it and then get on with your day. If they hate it, then let them hate it and eventually they'll do the same thing. ez pz.
They're just children with nothing better to do mate. Best bet is to ignore them.
Doesn't help when culture war grifters like Asmongold, Grummz, Vera Dark, SmashJT, Pirat Nation, The Quartering, MangaLawyer, and so much more, continually stoke the flames of hatred with their large followings.
They just don't like women and minorities existing in video games in general.
The game tags triggered them.
They find the tags such as "LGBTQ+" and "Female Protagonist" offensive to their sociopolitical beliefs. It's up to them the SJWs to defend their space.
I'm confused and curious at what this could mean now

But yeah, while I don't have nice things to say about the Harry Potter Author, I was able to recognize that the devs of that game had nothing to do with her or her views, so it was pretty simple to separate the two.
I had no idea there was a such a huge hate campaign around that to the point where people harassed streamers. Seems like ire was directed at the wrong people there :/
