YAWN - Never been so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bored in a game.
Jesus, like half an hour into part two and my god I am so bored. Everyone talking so slow, so many dialog pauses. I'm falling asleep. Every word and action just drags on and on. It's terrible, just terrible. Christ, this is the stuff Dont Nod is supposed to be good at (Not like that crap Banishers). If this doesn't get better soon I'm done with them...man, how far they've fallen.

Banishers was my personnal GOTY so you can keep this kind of comments for yourself. Tape 2 is slow until the Infiltration part but it was never meant to be a fast paced action game in the first place.
It is expected to be a slow game. You have to connect with the world, with the characters, get to know them to even have a clue how to help them.…

Is this your first narrative-based game? They are called 'waking simulators' for a reason.

Probably the best typo possible considering most of the 'discourse' on this board for weeks. :happymeat:

We get it, it's woke. /s
Yeah, I've play lots f these. This is barely a talking simulator. The first half was pretty decent. This one, 30 minutes in you're not doing anything but listening to extremely slow dialog. People talking slow, taking minutes to get out a scattering of words. Really long pauses between sentences. It's awful.

But that's just how these characters feel and act, otherwise it wouldn't be them. It's not about constant stimulation. This game isn't here just to entertain in a traditional sense. If you're not into that kind of slow-burn storytelling, then yeah, it's probably not for you. Personally, I really appreciate how this title leans even more into the relationships and the subtle nuances of communication. That's where it shines for me.

I'm with you. There were some strong moments, but there were others where it just....dragged. I kept thinking...is this still going? I don't think the issue though is that they're talking slow in ant of itself or even the pauses, it's just that they were in places it wasn't needed and somethings just weren't that interesting to begin with.

These narrative games are my bread and butter, I love them. But man, some times....I just wanted a skip button, like can we get on with it. It was a lot better in the first tape imo.
