dontnod fumbled tape 2
between the lack of closure, lack of polish, and technical issues. it's probably safe to say tape 2 did not meet most of our expectations even if you enjoyed it as a whole. how would you rewrite tape 2, given the opportunity?

For example, I would write that it's not that the four of them promised never to meet again. But instead, the deep pit forcibly erased Swann, Nora, and Autumn's memories of Kat (and the feelings they experienced from it will not be forgotten), which explains why Kat still called Swann to find her in the end.
I would rewrite how they handled the whole "pay for your sins" stuff. It was written quite weird because on the one hand, you have this "someone has to pay for something" mentality of what is trying to be portrayed, yet you do have the villain that does a lot of stuff to Kate, his girlfriend, as well as the main character and their friends, but the main character and their friends pretty much end up completely destroying the villain's lively hood and then presumably kills them to where I'm like ???? Like the way that was written was just odd. I also felt like there was very little explanations with regards to how any of the random supernatural stuff evens works, or at the very least it seems way too unclear. I also felt that the ending was trying to take all the ideas that they had for an ending, and basically put all of it into a messy montage of events that felt half baked, instead of maybe taking one idea and doing the best they can with it It feels like the main plot was rather weak in comparison to the side stories going on, even though in Tape 2 this was improved somewhat, it was really lacking in the first tape, and I still think that given that the game didn't really give me any reason to care about the supernatural stuff that the plot was trying to be built upon by the first tape, I would of written the main plot in a way that made it seem a lot more important, or at least write some of the side stuff and put it into the main plot or something. The main plot just feels pretty lacking in this game overall, yet the side story stuff is way more interesting and pretty great.
