seriously, every week its one after another woke game making 3% of its sales back after launch, then the developers crying that everyone is a bigot and racist and thats why the game is haemorrhaging money

while it is true (that people are keep hating on a game without even playing it and gay/black person in game = DEI or Woke)... source? where is Dontnod crying about bigots and racists?

It won't keep happening due to the lack of revenue and eventual studio closure for that reason.

The pockets of the entertainment industry deepend massively during the pandemic, where everybody (had to) stayed inside and consumed games/movies/shows. So it takes much longer to go bankrupt compared to a car dealer only selling bikes from now on. Making games/movies takes sometimes years, but as the last two years showed more and more studios are closing because of it. Make no mistake, it will still take a while, since sone people are still signaling falsy to publishers there would be money to make, just like this one:
