Decisions and the whole relationship system feel awkward and really off in this game
So many decisions have strange and partially even stupid consequences towards relationships like asking someone how they are, if something is wrong or if they need help leading to them thinking worse of you or hating your guts like bruh.....wat? These aren't babies or small kids, these are teens that should at least have some sense of basic human and social interactions.

Or how Swann is really heavily one-sided to the point that there isn't even a reason to offer different choices for her character development because she still always ends up being the exact same person at the end of the day either way, no matter how much you TRY to actually shape and mold her character around. She is static and is pretty boring.

Also the game feels heavily biased towards Kat and Nora shippers. I tried to get Autumn to the best possible relationship level (platonic, not romantic) because she seems to be the only actually normal and intelligent person of the whole group and still I only ended the game as a "NEW FRIEND" level on her scale, eventhough I did everything possible to AT LEAST gain her to a BFF level. Ironically, even then the system makes no sense because, for example, present Nora ended up as "Former friends" for me in the end, eventhough I chose all positive/heart decisions with her in the present. It feels like there is no consistancy.

Finally, a lot of decision texts are not really clear and lead to players being led down wrong premises and conclusions. Like the final decision at the concert where you can take the blame or try to justify your actions leading to you "Letting Kat take the blame". No? I just DEFENDED her, I didn't push the blame on her or have her take it... what?!

The whole game is riddled with these types of situations and I sure as hell hope they will improve for the second half.

Yeah, this situation was weird. I chose to say "This is Kat's dream" (or something like that) and then Kat got angry at me. :( I wasn't blaming her. I thought I misunderstood that situation somehow but... I don't know. Maybe Kat just misunderstood my good intentions?
I'll be honest, when the girls all gave their ages I was like 'what?'
Kat in no-way feels 16, Swann feels like maybe 15 same as Autumn, and I MIGHT believe that Nora is 16 / 17.

However I can attest that this isn't a game where you're supposed to always give the 'right' answer. For instance pressuring Autumn at one point might make her irritated, but later on it will cause her to open up to Swann more than she would if you played it safe. One thing I noticed very fast in my 2nd playthrough, you get WILDLY different dialogue between the girls depending on your relationships with them, and they aren't all clear-cut 'black and white' options.

I think the beauty of this game is that just playing it safe and only choosing the 'right' answers won't necessarily get you the best relationship options, but that's something people won't notice until they start to do re-plays which is sorta risky. I think this game, if any of them, needed a 'rewind' feature.

It would be easy to explain Kat not being mentally healthy enough to understand one's intentions, but even then there are a lot of other situations and examples where the interactions feel really weird and off.

Yeah I am at the part where I am cleaning up the abandoned house and said something to Autumn about liking mushrooms and it showed the broken heart icon lol. It can be a bit iffy sometimes but honestly that is kinda real life, people will misread your tone or intentions and think you're rude when you're not and vice versa. For the most part it feels fairly organic! Like I noticed trying to fit in with the girls gave me less points than if I stuck to what Swann is like actually
Swann has a bit of a flattering personality and Autumn is a bit fragile, and I want the game to have an ego index where Swann drops a little bit every time she pleases someone by fake laughing, and being the main character of the game can really be a little more self-centered

I had that sort of feeling in all LIS games.
