The game is about a group of friends in the 90s experiencing something crazy, and 27 years later it comes back to haunt them. If you could enjoy the IT movies, you can enjoy this game.
I am still interested in this one but only if it ends up having interesting writing and content instead of focusing on badly written tumblr drama
This is on my wishlist but I highly doubt it’ll be a release purchase for me. The reviews will be the deciding factor for me. We’ll see because as it stands they are nearing the title “DontBuy” from me tbh…
Yeah, apart from their 'lightning in a bottle' LiS, their games usually barely make a profit, so honestly unless this turns out to be the best game since Skyrim it'll probably be their last unless they get absorbed.
They are really good at capturing personalities in their games, and they are at their best when playing into that strength. Very few developers can do that, I feel, and it's a shame the genre of 'walking sims' isn't bigger.
Then again, Deck Nine came out with two banger titles and was coasting on success and then screwed it all up with one flop, so this genre just isn't very forgiving. It gives the best stories, but has the lowest profit margin.
in what world would anyone allow the reviews without any product being released? How would you review the car you did not drive yet, a TV you did not see on, a movie you did not watch, a graphic card you did not install in your PC?
You can freely discuss it here, but how reviews would be any relevant...
Almost like yall want the game to flop so you can go.."SEE, WE TOLD YOU!"
You guys need to simmer down.
and even if banishers is fine, but everyone sees it as god of war ripoff. remember me and vampy at least were really unique.
i've never played a LiS game... i like genres like this but in order to gain a crowd, you need to step outside of 'niche' and attract more gamers. this does not do it.
